Check out my 2 articles on failed real estate deals. My big unanswered question is: Who writes these contracts? The M&C approve the deals, but they are not writing the contracts. It has to be city staff. Too bad John C. Scott's interviews with Heywood Sanders (referred to in Part 2) are not online. It was chilling.
